I am having so much fun playing with the NEW Sweet Snowglobe stamp!

Yesterday I shared a pocket card with you that had a bright, cheery color scheme.  So, today I am changing it up a bit using neutral colors paired with Cherry Cobbler (my new favorite color).
   
 
TIP:  I used 1/2" Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding in place of ribbon on this card .  This new product is available in the Holiday Mini Catalog in three colors; Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla and Always Artichoke.

Holiday Pocket Card...without the Pocket!

Don't you just love SNOWGLOBES?

The Sweet Snowglobe stamp is located in the Holiday Mini Catalog under the
A La Carte section.  All items in this section are priced under $10.
I like the cheery, holiday feel of this card.

Tip:  To achieve the ruffled look at the bottom of the embellishment, I punched a strip of card stock with the Eyelet Border Punch and then ran the strip through the Crimper.  Then I gathered it a bit and attached with a strip of sticky strip.


TIP:  To achieve the look of a pocket card without the pocket, I cut and scored a piece of card stock as you would for a regular card and then I scored 1-1/4" from the top on front flap and then cut down to the score line along the middle score to create a flap.

Deck the Halls Holiday Gift Bag!

Welcome back for DAY 4 of the RemARKable Holiday Madness Blog Tour!

I am having so much fun sharing creative ideas with you AND checking out all of the wonderful projects on the tour!

Today I am sharing a holiday gift bag with you that features the Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper by Stampin' Up!

I also used the new Mini Lunch Sacks and the Tags til Christmas stamp set.  You can find many of the products I used for this project in the Holiday Mini Catalog.

Step 1:  Cut the 1-1/2" off the top of the lunch sack.
Step 2:  Fold the bottom flap of the lunch sack down to create a V at the bottom
Step 3:  Cut a piece of card stock 6-5/8" x 3-3/8" and score along the 6-5/8" edge at 1-1/2".  This is the back and front folding flap.
Step 4:  Cut a piece of card stock 5" x 3-3/8".  This is the front panel.
Step 5:  Punch holes just below the score line on the front panel as shown in the photo. 
Step 6:  Thread ribbon through holes and adhere to inside back panel before adhering the panel to the lunch sack.
Step 7:  Adhere the back panel to the sack making sure the score line is just above the top of the sack to allow the flap to fold down.
Step 8:  Adhere front panel to lunch sack.
Step 9:  Attached a Velcro dot to the underside of flap.
Step 10:  Embellish as desired.

 TIP:  To create the leaves for the flower, I punched an oval using the 1-3/8" x 5/8" Oval Punch & then scored down the center using the Paper Cutter with Scoring Blade.  Fold on the score line and then run through the Crimper, unfold.

RemARKable New Catalog Blog Tour - Day 1

Welcome to the first day of the RemARKable New Catalog Blog Tour!

I absolutely LOVE the NEW Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper, so I decided to create this stair step card so I could showcase several of the patterns.

I paired the designer series paper with the Perfect Punches stamp set, added some ribbon & a few embellishments and I had a birthday card in minutes.
 
AND, this card fits in a Stampin' Up! medium envelope!
  
I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this card was to create.  When you see samples of the stair step card at first glance it looks complicated, but it really wasn't!

Here are some basic instructions.  If you have further questions feel free to EMAIL ME:

Start out with an 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of card stock.

Score along the 5-1/2" edge at 2",

Score along the 8-1/2" edge with the 2" score at the top:
When scoring the following only score up to the 2" score line unless instructed otherwise:
2-1/4", 4-1/4" (all the way to top), 5-1/2", 6-1/2", 7-1/4".

Cut on 2" score line between the 2-1/4" & 7-1/4" score lines.
