On Board Bird Book Continued...

In my post yesterday I shared a photo of an On Board Bird Scrapbook that I recently created.

I would like to share some basic instructions on how I created the pages for this book.

STEP 1:  Trace the chipboard bird onto the designer series paper of your choice.

NOTE:  Trace on the back side of the pattern you would like to show & be sure to flip the bird in the opposite direction.

NOTE:  Be sure to trace the hole at the top of the bird.
 
Cut along trace lines & punch hole with Stampin' Up!'s Crop-A-Dile.
 








Using Stampin' Up!'s Anywhere Glue Stick lightly coat the entire surface of the chipboard bird.
 Adhere the designer series paper to the chipboard bird lining up edges & punch hole.

Allow a few minutes for glue to set up and then sand, sponge & embellish as desired.

NOTE:  If you are using ribbon as an embellishment, be sure to wrap ribbon ends behind designer series paper before adhering to the chipboard bird.

NOTE:  Use Mini Glue Dots on back of ribbon to adhere to chipboard book.

Easter Card Featuring Various Punches!

This Easter Card was one of the projects at my Let's Get Punchy class in January.

This card is all about the punches!

What I LOVE about the new Eggcoutrements stamp set from the Occassions Mini Catalog is the scallop stamp that coordinates with Stampin' Up!'s Scallop Edge punch.  Just stamp & punch, for a very cute border great for any card or scrapbook page!

Is this little house cute or what?

I learned how to create the house at a  RemARKable RAD Retreat that I attended in December.

Fellow RemARKable & RAD Attendee, Jill created the idea from a box of muffin mix she had purchased.  She created a pattern for the RAD attendees and we went to town creating themed houses!

There were so many wonderful houses created that we decided to share them with you...So, we are going to have an "OPEN HOUSE BLOG TOUR."

There will be an abundance of themed "HOUSE" ideas from my fellow RAD Retreat Attendees!

AND, after the tour each RAD achiever and myself will be offering a "House" class to our customers to learn how to create a basic box with cards.
