3 x 3 Card Featuring Masking Technique!

This card was one of the make and take projects at the Stampin' Up! Convention.

I love how it features a really easy technique that packs a lot of WOW!
Masking is really easy to accomplish using the reverse image of die cut shapes.

 

I used three different ink colors to achieve the background within the circle mask.

 
 

 Position the mask on the project and sponge using a dabbing motion with various ink colors until you acheive the desired background color.
NOTE:  Stamping Sponges come in packages of 3...get more for your money by cutting the sponges into 4 pieces...3 sponges now become 12!

This WONDERFUL bag tag was created by Jerry who is the husband of my friend and team member, Celisa.

Jerry always spoils my team members who attend convention with a special bag tag that he creates featuring the convention theme for that year!  He always does a spectacular job and I look forward to convention every year, so I can see what Jerry has created for us!  THANKS, Jerry!
 
 

This cute convention themed tag was created by one of my team members, Celisa.

I know you will laugh at this, but this little tag was nestled in a large cello bag filled with tootsie rolls and tied really pretty with ribbon.  Well, as you can see the photo does not show that, because I was so desparate for a candy fix and didn't have my camera handy, so I busted into the bag before I was able to take a photo.  The chocolate always wins out!

My friend Denise created this cute little purse for me.  It was also filled with delicious chocolate which is not obviously pictured here...Are you seeing a pattern?  The chocolate won out once again!

I'm Back from Convention...

I just arrived home from the Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake City, UT.

I had such an AWESOME time, I was sorry to see it end, however I am excited to begin creating and sharing the creative ideas & techniques I learned with you!

I am busy unpacking and organizing all of the goodies I brought home, but I thought I would take a few minutes to post this gift I received from two of my downline as a convention gift.  Thanks, Christine & Cheryl!

Another WONDERFUL day at the Stampin' Up! Convention!

WHEW!  Another long, but FUN day today! 
My top three highlights for the day...

1.  More swapping!
2.  Classes
3.  Main Stage Presentations...WOW, do I have a ton of ideas to share with you...I can't wait to get home and try them out!
 
Here is a photo of the swaps I have gathered over the last couple of days...I have gotten some wonderful, creative ideas from many of them & will be sharing those ideas with you in future posts.

I absolutely love to swap creative ideas with other demonstrators and convention is a great place to swap!

I have met many new friends through swapping...it is definitely one of my favorite things to do during convention.


 
I thought I would also share by name badge holder with you...It's funny how attached I get to this while at a Stampin' Up! event.  I wear it for four days instead of carrying a purse...so, when I go home, it always takes me a few days to part with it...LOL!

Sadly, tomorrow if the last day of convention, however I am anxious to get back home and start creating!
